Receta Ensalada Capresa

La Ensalada Capresa es una ensalada italiana simple, hecha de rodajas de mozzarella fresca, tomate y albahaca, sazonada con sal y aceite de oliva

Ingredientes

2 tomates grandes o tres medianos bien escogidos para que sean carnosos, consistentes y con la menor cantidad posible de jugo.
200 gramos de queso mozzarella: toma en cuenta unos 100 gramos por cada tomate grande.
20 hojas de albahaca
Aceite de oliva
Vinagre balsámico:  totalmente opcional porque la receta original no lo incluye.

Sal y pimienta, según el gusto personal la pimienta es reemplazable por orégano.

Preparación

Lavar y desinfectar tomates y hojas de albahaca.
Cortar tomate y queso mozarella en láminas, no muy delgadas, tampoco muy gruesas.
En un plato grande o largo, alternar una rueda de tomate con una rueda de queso, hasta terminar estos ingredientes.
Acomodar las hojas de albahaca entre las rodajas, o por encima, de forma decorativa. En caso de haber escogido aceite de albahaca en lugar de hojas, bañar la preparación con un hilo y no utilizar aceite de oliva.
Bañar la preparación con un hilo de aceite de oliva y otro de vinagre balsámico (este último es opcional).
Agregar sal y pimienta al gusto, u orégano en lugar de pimienta. Si has decidido usar aceitunas, este es momento de acomodar las rebanadas sobre la ensalada.
